Intro to Agroforestry Design Systems—Part 1

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces core agroforestry systems, including alley cropping, forest farming, and riparian buffers. Participants will learn how to assess land, identify opportunities, and begin designing integrated systems aligned with NRCS planning frameworks. It is a condensed, comprehensive introduction to agroforestry systems from concept to implementation. Part 2 will be in person at Virginia State University’s Randolph Farm.
