Meeting Information:

This is a virtual meeting to connect participants of USDA’s Farming Opportunities Training and Outreach (FOTO) –the Socially Disadvantaged and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers Program (aka the 2501 Program) and the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program (BFRDP)–with the USDA Meat and Poultry Processing Capacity Technical Assistance Program (MPPTA).

These USDA partner organizations intersect are working to expand and support participation in USDA programs and services among new, beginning, historically underserved and/or underrepresented stakeholders. USDA encourages new and stronger relationships among these organizations to enhance stakeholder support across USDA-funded technical assistance activities.

In this introductory meeting, the six MPPTA Cooperators will introduce their organizations, their TA projects and resources. USDA encourages Q&A and active discussion of opportunities to enhance assistance to participants of USDA’s meat and poultry supply chain expansion initiatives. (www.usda.gov/meat).
