Virginia State University’s College of Agriculture has released the inaugural edition of the Animal – HERDS Newsletter (Animal Health, Efficiency, Reproduction, and Data analytics Systems), covering updates from the Animal Systems Extension and Research program, including hair sheep production, Virginia’s beef cattle industry, and the Meat Processing Unit (MPU) revitalization effort.
