Join us for “Talkin’ Farmin’,” an evening dedicated to exploring opportunities through local Ag partners. Hear from producers in the area who have participated in dierent programs oered by the SWCD. Dig deep into the Va. Agricultural Cost Share Program and find out what other BMPs might fit your operation. Participate in a Question and Answer portion with the District and their partners to find out more about dierent practices and how they may fit into your current operation. Whether you’re a seasoned farmer, an aspiring agriculturist, or simply interested in learning more about the world of farming, this event is for you!
Event Highlights
Partner Agency Update: Hear from our partner agencies like DCR (Dept. Conservation & Recreation), NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service), FSA (Farm Service Agency), Virginia Cooperative Extension, Farm Bureau, and VSU Small Farm Outreach Program.
Q & A Session: Participate in opening up the Program Year 2026 VACS Manual and see
specific practices and specifications for dierent BMPs.
Enjoy Dinner: Dinner will be oered for those who RSVP prior to the deadline.
