FSA & NRCS Communicators: This toolkit is intended for states prone to hurricane activity.
We posted this blog on farmers.gov this morning, encouraging producers to prepare for the 2025 hurricane season and get to familiar with USDA recovery resources.
FSA Communications Coordinators and NRCS Public Affairs Specialists in hurricane-prone states are encouraged to utilize this toolkit to amplify disaster preparedness for the 2025 hurricane season. This includes sharing the stakeholder toolkit with your contacts, distributing the govDelivery article, and distributing the attached public service announcement audio file to your state’s broadcast media outlets. Please customize materials where appropriate. NRCS X – Current guidance still stands, we are on a pause for state-level social media at this time (refer to 4/9 guidance sent from FPAC.RCT@usda.gov). Instead, please reshare content posted from our national X accounts.
