Greetings,

I hope this message finds you well and 2023 is off to a great start. The USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture is underway for the United States and Puerto Rico. The deadline is fast approaching on Feb. 6, and we would greatly appreciate your help encouraging producers to respond. These data are incredibly important to U.S. agriculture and impact everything from farm programs and funding, crop insurance rates, rural development, disaster assistance, the Farm Bill and more. If our producers are not represented in the data, they risk being underserved.

NASS’s Partner Tools site has resources for outreach, including ads, banners for websites and email signatures, videos, flyers, FAQs and more. If there are other outreach products that would be helpful to you, do not hesitate to reach out and we will get you what you need.

We are also in the midst of our Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS). This data collection effort depicts the economic well-being of America’s farms and ranches. For producers who received ARMS, they can respond to this survey instead of the ag census.

We recognize how busy you are, so thank you in advance for your help ensuring every voice is counted in the 2022 Census of Agriculture.
