Joe Lyman, DVM, will be discussing thefundamentals of establishing a biosecurity plan for horse facilities. Topicswill include the foundations of biosecurity, disinfectant chemistries, andbasic biosecurity measures that can be employed to maintain a healthyenvironment for horses and people within a facility. Dr. Lyman joinedNeogen in 2014 after practicing equine medicine in Lexington, KY for 12 years.In addition to his practice, he was an adjunct professor at Midway College andhas been an invited speaker around the country on topics ranging from equinereproduction to farm biosecurity. He serves as Neogen’s Director ofResearch and Professional Services, taking active roles in product development,service, and support.
