Here are a two cattle producer meetings we have coming up next month.  The Rockbridge Cattlemen’s Association summer field day, to be held on September 9th 2021 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Shenandoah Valley Agricultural Research and Extension Center/McCormick Farm in Raphine. The program topic is Pink-Eye Control – preventative measures and vaccines, fly control methods, treatments, and new study findings on pink eye mitigation.  The program speaker will be John Currin, DVM –Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.  The program cost is $12, payable to the Rockbridge Cattlemen’s Association.  Please register by calling or emailing Tom Stanley at stanleyt@vt.eduor 540-588-0241 or John Benner at benner89@vt.eduby September 3rd to ensure we have enough meals prepared. Attached is a program flyer with further details.
