Soybean Field Day – Charlotte and Halifax counties

There are two different demonstration plots and producers are welcome to attend one or both locations. Soybean variety trials and demonstration plots will present the latest in extension research this year. Extension specialists on hand to share updates include Dr. David Holshouser (Soybean Specialist), Dr. Sally Taylor (Entomologist), and Dr. David Langston (Pathologist). The program at the Halifax County site (Clinton Road, Nathalie) will begin at 10 AM and the program for the Charlotte County site (Old Well Road) will be at 1 PM. Participants are asked to follow the VCE signs once on the road to direct them to the demonstration sites. Pre-Registration is Required to Attend! Producers can register by calling 434-542-5884. COVID-19 Safety Procedures will be followed for the field day event. Face masks or shields are required, sanitizing materials will be provided, and physical distancing will be required.
