All roads will lead to the Virginia Horse Center on April 16, 2024, as USDA Rural Development staff host a joint workshop on the ReConnect Loan and Grant Program, which offers funding for construction, improvement or acquisition of facilities and equipment needed to provide broadband service in eligible rural areas.
This session is a follow up to recent national webinars and designed for potential applicants in Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and North Carolina. General Field Representative (GFR) Richard Jenkins will discuss program eligibility and the application process as well as offer a deep dive into recent improvements that will increase availability of funding in the hardest-to-reach rural areas.
How to participate: Register here by April 12, 2024, to reserve your spot for this in-person program to be held in the Appomattox Mezzanine of the facility located at 487 Maury River Road, Lexington, VA 24450. (Visit the Virginia Horse Center website for directions and a site map.)
