The Virginia Forage and Grassland Council invites you to join us for our first stockmanship and grazing infrastructure training, featuring Curt Pate.
This is a follow-up event to our 2023 Winter Forage Conference series and will include hands-on training, live demonstrations with livestock, and great food. The event will take place on October 3 and 4, 2023 in Weyers Cave, Virginia. Come for one or both days. Registration is $60 per day.
Participants will learn about fence building, applying stockmanship principles to facility design, techniques for moving cattle in pasture and pen, troubleshooting electric fences, and much more.
This will be the first workshop of this type in the country, and we are excited to be able to offer this to Virginia livestock and forage farmers. Space is limited so register now to guarantee your spot.
